WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR BRIDAL APPOINTMENT
APPOINTMENT TIME AND EXPECTATIONS:
Our appointments are approximately 90 minutes. We've found that this is the perfect amount of time to discuss your style and vision, try out about six to eight carefully chosen gowns, and revisit any "favorites" on your list. During this allotted time your Bridal Consultant will be serving clear beverages to you and your guests while creating a fun and inviting atmosphere for your special day!
Currently, our gowns range from $1,300 to $7,000. We have a selection of sale wedding dresses that are on sale from $1,300-$2,000. The majority of our sample gowns (gowns that we will order in your desired size and color) are $1,800 to $3,500.
Every First Thursday we have our sample dress sale. These are dresses we are selling "off the rack" in "as is" condition. This is a great way to get a designer dress at a fraction of the cost of ordering new. At LaNeige Bridal we take pride in our designers, who are accommodating to every bride and every dream. Known for her very own contemporary European flare, our in-house designer, DACI, has captured the hearts of thousands around the world! We exclusively carry her newest collections and even offer the custom DACI bridal gown experience. We also carry European designer Romana G. Urmanczy Couture, Essense of Australia, Martina Liana, Sottero & Midgley, Enzoani, and Badgley Mischka. We are excited to carry the most Pinterest recognized bridesmaids dresses by Jenny Yoo and Sorella Vita.
We are located in the heart of Downtown Boise in the Alaska Center Building off of Main St. in between 10th and 11th St. Downtown Boise itself offers paid meter parking along with parking garages and lots close by, but off Main St. a block over on 12th there is free two hour parking on the left and right sides of the street.
We do not offer alterations in store. Nearly all gowns do require some form of alterations. We whole-heartedly recommend Melinda and her team at Transformations Sewing. Her email is firstname.lastname@example.org.
We carry one sample of each gown in our designer collections ranging from a size 4 to 26 in bridal sizing with the majority being sizes 8, 10, 12, and 14; although these gowns can be ordered in sizes 0 to 20, with some lines offering sizing up to a 34. DACI gowns however range in size from 0 to 10 and are all offered "off the rack" (one of a kind, ready to buy). All of her dresses can be remade with different laces, materials, and custom changes for sizes 0 to 20.
Bridal sizing runs differently than street sizing (bridal slang for normal sizing) and varies with each designer. On average, a bridal 12 is similar to a street size 8. For the most part, sample gowns will never be a perfect fit but you have our promise that we will do all that we can to give you the best possible idea of how it will look!
We often see brides having the best and easiest time with smaller parties. Of course everyone is unique and different, but often times having more than five people with you is more stressful and less fun than one would think. Smaller groups allow you to actually be able to listen to yourself, your opinions, and how you feel, and that is the most important and indispensable opinion. If you choose to bring more than five people please let us know and we will be more then happy to make accommodations for you. We also want you to document your experience with us! So please feel free to bring a camera!
UNDER THE DRESS ESSENTIALS:
"Under the Dress" essentials include; bra, body shaper, undergarments, shoes, etc. Some brides decide not to wear a bra. What you choose to wear under your gown is ultimately your decision, but we have found that when our brides attend their appointment with a body shaper and strapless bra they feel more comfortable in their gown and it gives us a better idea of what alterations will look like.
We have a wide variety of accessories including veils, sashes, belts, headbands and hair accessories, ring bearer pillows, handmade flowers and garters! The best part about LaNeige is that we have an in-house designer that can customize your fabric accessories to match any gown you have purchased, whether in store or not. All of our accessories have been carefully selected by your LaNeige team to perfectly compliment and bring your wedding gown vision to life.
APPOINTMENT CANCELLATION POLICY:
About 72 hours prior to your appointment we will call you to confirm the time and day that you are coming in. We also send out e-mail and text appointment confirmations if we cannot reach you by phone. If you decide to cancel your appointment, we ask that you do so by email or phone at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. All bridal fair discount checks are null and void if you do not cancel and reschedule your original appointment at least 24 hours before the appointment.
STORE PURCHASE POLICY:
We do offer payment plans or layaway for any bridal gown. We do not believe in adding interest and take pride in working with our brides by letting them select their own personal payment plan. Payment plans must be decided at time of purchase. All sales are final, meaning we cannot do any refunds on stock gowns or special orders.
